SUPPORTING AFRICANS IN TUCSON, AZ

African Community AZ, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was formed to help African immigrants and their families in Southern Arizona get support and come together in community.

WHAT WE DO

Small group ESL classes are organized by level to make sure the content challenges the learner progressively.

Classes held weeknights from 6-7pm and weekends from 11am-12pm.

Ongoing adult education classes include: Parenting skills, Citizenship Test Preparation and more.

Classes held weeknights from 5-6pm and weekends from 10am-11am.

For our community members who work more hours than their child is in school, we offer free childcare from 3pm-6pm each weekday. Our caring staff lead guided, enriching activities and support creative time for the children.

WHERE WE ARE

We are located in Mayfair Plaza on the South side of 22nd Street, just east of Swan Road.
